This year round retreat is on the east shore of the Long Reach, Bay of Quinte. The property includes 2.5 wooded acres with 180 feet of waterfront midway between the Trent and Rideau Waterways. Our four seasons bring dramatic changes in landscape and scenery - yours to enjoy. This is a unique family compound with two separate living spaces. Fill the Main Cottage with family and friends and relax and enjoy your own Master Retreat. Both wings have separate entrances, panoramic views of Long Reach, a huge wrap around deck. There is a built in boathouse and superb docking facilities. Main Cottage: 2 storey; fully equipped pine kitchen, open concept dining and living room, woodburning fireplace, family bathroom. Upstairs find 2 bedrooms and a large cedar closet. Master Retreat: 2 storey; Master Bedroom with walk out to deck, Master ensuite dressing room and bathroom, Main floor living room with woodburning fireplace, Main floor breakfast and wet bar. Accessory Buildings: Garage, Sleeping Cabin, Garden Shed Area Facilities: The waterway: Midpoint between Montreal and Toronto. Accessible to the Trent Severn Waterway, a unique 386 kilometer system of lakes and rivers stretching from the Bay of Quinte in the south to Georgian Bay in the north. This area is noted for its boating, windsurfing, sailing and fishing. So much to do: Fall brings Country Fairs. Explore working studios in the visual arts; galleries regularly showcase local artists in nearby small towns and villages Winter activities include cross country skiing, hiking, ice fishing. Spring brings strawberries. The town of Napanee hosts outdoor concerts at the Millennium Pavillion. Day trips include Wolfe Island and the Loyalist city of Kingston.
